#Review of Enticed by @JABelfield #HollowayPack #PNR #Wolves

Enticed: A Holloway Pack Mini
Author: J.A. Belfield
Release Date: April 16th, 2015
ENTICED is a FREE short story that will enrapture both Holloway Pack fans and virgins alike.
Happy Birthday to Ethan.
Or is it?
Gifts aside, Ethan’s morning hasn’t been anything to write home about. Sure, life is good, the pack is staying out of trouble, he finally has a mate who boils his blood … in a good way.
Except Shelley hasn’t called. Hasn’t come by. Didn’t even bother to join her son and his girlfriend for Ethan’s annual I’m-a-year-older breakfast.
What Ethan doesn’t know is that Shelley has plans. Plans that have been in progress for weeks. Ones that Ethan will never see coming, and that she’s banked on him not knowing a thing about.
She can only hope her secrecy doesn’t force his inner wolf to the surface—at least, not too early.
*Can be read as a standalone.

REVIEW

So anyone who knows me, knows I am a HUGE Ethan fan. Heck, Ms. Belfield even mentioned in the acknowledgements of this little novella that I begged for the story to be written. Like...begged. Salivated and got on my knees.

Anyhoo.

Ethan Holloway as we've never seen him - enjoying a birthday present only Shelly can give him. Lucky duck, let me tell you! Hot damn. I don't want to give too much away, yet I want to gush over the details. The choice of words. The heat. The need to bite. Mate. Ms. Belfield rocks yet another story with her ability to create pictures within your mind. Oh, and what a movie this is!!!

Woof!

This novella is exactly what the Holloway Pack series needed...a bit of werewolf naughty minus the fur and fangs. Ms. Belfield stays true to her voice, the characters, and setting, giving us a glimpse into the lives of my favorite pack. From a breakfast feast around the family-sized table to Ethan's boxers, this short read satisfies a smidge more than the other titles.  *wink wink*

A MUST READ! Nab your copy now FOR FREE, then be sure to check out the rest of the Holloway Pack titles.

Author Interview: Sonny Zae author of #medieval #fantasy #romance

I'm thrilled to have Sonny Zae here today to ask a couple of question for the Love Elixir Antidote blog tour!

Check out the giveaway below!

~~~oOo~~~
Who would you say is your favorite character(s) from your books, and why? What is it about this character that makes him/her tick?
I cannot say Sonny Zaeffom, naturally, as that would be nakedly self-serving.  I do not say that out of a false modesty, as I do not possess modesty of any sort.  I would say such a thing if the editor would not take a sword to my words—and might well get carried away once committed to hacking.
I suppose it would be Pugloria, if for nothing more than her unshakeable belief in her own attractiveness.  She is undeterred by rejections and unwavering in her pursuit, even though a wild sow's face would be more pleasant to stare into.  Pugloria's teeth are better than a wild sow's in that they are not quite tusks.  Her hair is the colour of fall leaves after they have fallen and begun to rot, clumped together in damp piles under the trees.  She would not pause in her pursuit even if a mirror were thrust in front of her.  Her face might shatter the mirror in advance of throwing back her malign visage.  So one simply has to admire such blind, ignorant determination.  What she lacks in good qualities she makes up for in bad qualities.
Do you have a schedule of when you write?
No, just generally in the morning, when I am more creative.  That is also when I come up with my best schemes for liberating coins from the many dullards who surround me.
In addition, I grab time when I can get it, and think up good stories and good lies for when I might next need them.  When being pursued by an angry shopkeeper or husband is no time for conjuring a good excuse.  So I dream up a healthy stock of them, even though I detest performing work in advance.  That is not entirely accurate, however, as I detest work generally.
What elements do you think make a great story line?
Interesting characters, characters with real and deep flaws, persons who are thrust into situations they are not equipped to deal with.
But I am jesting again, as the best story lines are those that tell about me and my life.  I could talk about myself forever and never lack for stories to recite—including true ones.
Have you gotten feedback from family about your book(s)? What do they think?
They give me strange, side-long glances, then suddenly remember some urgent appointment or activity.  I should rent out my services as the world's most effective memory aid.
Where do you as an author draw the line on gory descriptions and/or erotic content?
I draw the line around it, and encircle it.  Then, I add arrows to the material, plus stars and other symbols to draw peoples' attention to my incredible creativity.
“Melinda has done it again!!! I absolutely love the way that she makes us all swoon for her characters in her stories and not be able to put it down until we are done.” Reader
Excerpt:
Time to focus on the Cosmo article she read two days before about flirting. She sipped her citrus martini, and as she brought the glass down, she licked her lips and glanced at her target. He actually flinched, the hunger in his eyes darkening. Barely enough for anyone to notice, but she did. She ran her hand up and down her neck, closing her eyes for a minute. When she opened them to look his way again, he had already started to walk in her direction. No, he didn’t walk; he actually strutted like a man on a mission.
She was his mission. Shit. Shit. Shit. Play it cool, Veronica. You’re a strong, sensual woman. You can do this.
She sipped her yellow drink again to calm herself, and if she was lucky, he wouldn’t notice her shaking. Calm. Sensual. Like a boss.
He positioned himself in front of her, one hand in his pocket and the other holding a tumbler of brown liquid, and rocked on the heels of his dark Dolce & Gabbana brogues.
“Hello.” His voice reverberated down to her core.
She gulped her martini to gain more liquid courage, but rather than bravery, the unthinkable happened. She swallowed the cherry that swam in her drink and the tickle in her throat drove her into a coughing frenzy.
She tried to smile through it, to let him know all was fine and she could still be the sexy seductress. As his large, firm hand patted her back, she fanned the air and grabbed his tumbler, downing the thick liquid.
After a last cough, she cleared her throat one more time. “Whoa. What was that?”
“Whiskey. Neat.” He grinned, his gorgeous caramel eyes lit with an inner glow. “You okay?”
A warmth spread over her cheeks. Holy freaking embarrassment. “It was strong.”
“I could’ve warned you, I guess, but you were busy.” He grinned and squeezed her shoulder with his large hand.
Was that an accent? Damn, could he be more perfect? Immediately, she glanced at his hand that revealed several tattoos peeking out of his jacket hem, from his wrist all the way down to his fingers. No ring. Thank God.
“Can we forget that happened? I’m not usually like that.” She waved her hand in the air and winced inwardly.
God, she wanted to erase that doomed first impression. She was confident, dammit. She didn’t want this dreamy man to know she could be less than sophisticated. Her act was more difficult than she imagined.
“It’s a shame. I kind of liked the unusual first encounter. Not that I want you to choke, but I was ready to save you.” He braced his tattooed hand against the wall behind her, moving closer. His manly smell was soapy, with a hint of wood.
Save her he might. “Who are you?”
He squinted his glowing eyes and turned his head to the side. He didn’t say anything for a long time, just studied her and then rolled on the heels of his feet. “Who are you?”
His “r” rolled off his tongue with a Spanish accent of some kind.
“When someone answers a question with a question, it’s one of two things. Either the person doesn’t have anything interesting to say or he’s hiding something. Are you hiding something?”
He lowered his voice and ran a hand up her arm. “I think we all do. Why are you hiding in the corner?”
Damned if the man’s touch sent shivers all the way to her toes. “So someone like you would find me.”
“Like me? How am I?”
“A man with questions … and a devious grin.”
As suspected, his smile grew and his gaze sought hers. “Well, I came over to tell you how stunning you look, but being a woman of such deep insight, you might take that the wrong way, no?”
“I’ll take it any way you want.” Yep. The alcohol had definitely gotten to her.
Got a favorite dragon? #Giveaway #TensList by Sheryl Winters #Skydreamer #Dragons #Fantasy
Tour Schedule
I'm thrilled to have my fellow Pen Sister Sheryl Winters here today as part of her Skydreamer blog tour!! My lovely bud is a dragon lover, and with Skydreamer being about dragons...well, I just had to know her top ten favorite dragons / dragon stories.
Be sure to check out the giveaway, & thanks for stopping by!!
~~~oOo~~~

This Tens list was actually hard. I expected to breeze through it but who knew it would be this hard ranking dragon’s I’ve loved for so long.

10.  CANTH: Anne McCaffrey. “Dragonquest.” I loved Canth, I cried when he fell after he tried to go to the Red Star. He was smart, kind and loving. I felt for Fnor but it was Canth I fell in love with.

9. SMAUG. J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Hobbit.” He was fierce in the book and he scared me in the movie.

8. Hungarian Horntale, from J. K. Rowlings, “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.” Nuff said. Viscous.. scary..

7. Falcor from the the never ending Story. I wanted to ride that dragon so bad!!!

6. The Male Dragon. “Reign of fire.” No real name (perhaps he took it with him into death) this dragon was a scary thing to behold even if he was just in a movie.

5. TOOTHLESS “How to Train a dragon.”  Cressida Cowell.   I {{HEART}} TOOTHLESS.

4. Ingeloakastimizilian from the crystal shard. Don’t be put off by the name. Inge.. (as I like to call him) was a fierce fighter but not as good as Wulfgar and Drizzt Do’Urden.
3. Cyan Bloodbane, Dragon Lance. Awesome green dragon. He crept into your dreams.. and then he scared you to death.
2. Gleep from “Hit or Myth.” Sure he was a small dragon and often mascaraed as a War Unicorn, but then again, who hasn’t?

1. Draven Winterbourn. “Skydreamer” The thoughtful, smart, kind and occasionally temper provoked King of the Dragon-Changers. Sure he can change from Dragon to Human. Sure he’s in love with his wife but you want to know what I really love about him? He defends his own, always.

Check out the goods...
